Addition of CP-31expands category-leading printer
line to include improved printing capabilities for ultrasonic
diagnosis systems
November 25, 2007 —--
Today at RSNA 2007, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Inc. showcases its
industry-leading CP-30 line of digital color printer products for medical professionals.
The line includes the CP-30DW, CP-30W models, as well as Mitsubishi’s newest
release: the CP-31W .
Mitsubishi’s CP-30 printers have become the gold
standard for digital imaging in the medical industry. The
products are renowned for their easy and reliable operation,
as well as the production of high quality images at amazing
speeds—critical for medical personnel whose decisions
depend on clear, reliable information provided under time-sensitive
conditions.
The CP-30W is an analog color printer that provides astonishing,
423 dpi high resolution prints with smear-free gradation
output, produced at high speed. The CP-30DW combines all
the functionality of the CP-30W with a high-speed USB interface
for digital applications.
Mitsubishi’s new CP-31W raises the bar for medical
imaging printing. It comes equipped with a high-performance
DSP engine and a 423 dpi thermal head. Like it’s
predecessors, the CP-31W provides optimum print quality
at exceptional speed—16 seconds for S-size and 25
seconds for L-size output. However, the CP-31W offers features
designed specifically for ultrasound low-light environments.
The printer comes equipped with a selection of gamma curves
to handle ultrasonic diagnosis systems, endoscopes and
other sophisticated medical instruments, simplifying user
gamma curve fine-tuning and color adjustment. For added
versatility, the CP-31W offers a choice between multi-prints
split into 2 or 4 frames.
Mitsubishi developed the CP-30 series of printers with
reliability and ease-of-operation in mind. All printers
in the CP-30 family feature space-saving, front-access
design with automatic loading for ribbon cartridge replacement,
internal wide-mouth paper catchers, and built-in lighting
to track print status in dim or dark areas. The accuracy
and versatility of these printers makes them ideally suited
to support the frontline of today’s image-critical
medical applications.
“The CP-30 line responds directly to the industry’s
need for more compact, yet higher performing, user-friendly
printers,” commented Darla Achey, marketing communications
specialist, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics. “Whether
working in analog or digital diagnostic systems, there’s
a printer in the CP-30 family to meet the needs of any
medical professional.”
