January 6, 2008—Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America Imaging Products today announced that
its CP-9800DW digital photo printer has received Professional Photographer magazine’s
2008 “Hot One” award in the Dye-Sub Photo Printer category.
The Mitsubishi CP-9800DW was chosen for its ability to
produce high-grade picture quality at remarkable output
speeds. The printer features a high-speed USB 2.0 interface
and rapid output of just 8.7 seconds for a 4” x 6” print.
Since its debut in March of 2007, the unit has become a
powerful revenue-generator for field photographers as well
as photo retailers—an accomplishment recognized by Professional
Photographer.
Professional Photographer presents its Hot
One awards each year for the photo industry’s best
new products. A panel of esteemed working professionals
takes an in-depth look at the year’s best photo products
and determines which are making the biggest impact with
professional photographers.
