America Imaging Products today announced it is now shipping
the new ultra-fast, high volume CP-9800DW digital photo
printer. Providing the most advanced technology in digital
printing, the Mitsubishi CP-9800DW quickly produces prints
with exceptional resolution and clarity for use by professional
photographers in the field.
Available now through authorized Mitsubishi resellers,
the CP-9800DW features a high-speed USB 2.0 interface and
excellent picture quality . Utilizing a new high grade
media you can print a 4” x 6” photo in 8 seconds
and batch printing enables output of 400 prints per hour.
That high-speed output rate translates immediately and
positively to the bottom line for any on-site event photographer
or photo retailer.

The unit’s vivid images are the result of the CP-9800DW color management
engine technology. Based on Mitsubishi’s adaptive thermal-head management
engine, the unit’s color management engine technology features a 300 dpi
high-density thermal head for clean, defined and consistent picture production.
The CP-9800DW also boasts greater versatility by offering
four print sizes (3.5” x 5”, 4” x 6”,
5” x 7”, and 6” x 9”) with edge-to-edge
printing, all of which print at speeds faster than ever
before. Features also include a jam-free, roll-type mechanism,
and easy-to-use front access for loading the media and
ink sheet.
The CP-9800DW, with an MSLP price of $2,595, joins Mitsubishi’s
outstanding line of high-performance digital photo printers
including the CP-9550DW providing 4 x 6, 5 x 7 and 6 x
9 prints, and the CP-3020DAU outputting to 8 x 10 and 8
x 12 prints. All Mitsubishi digital photo printers are
backed by Mitsubishi’s Express Replacement Assistance
program, which guarantees replacement printer to be shipped
within 24 hours of a claim.
