October 18, 2007— With the opening of PhotoPlus
here today, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America is showcasing
its comprehensive range of digital printer products designed
specifically with the professional photographer in mind.
The line, which includes high performing CP-Series dye
sublimation printers and Click and Kiosk digital photo
systems, provides professional photographers with category-leading
reliability and print performance coupled with advanced
production functionality and professional photographer-inspired
support programs.
Mitsubishi’s printer line includes the new CP-9800DW and
the proven CP-9550W printers. Both high-speed,
high volume printers provide consistently outstanding print
quality at a low cost. The CP-9800DW and CP-9550DW each boast
a 300 dpi thermal head that delivers bright, bold colors,
greater image quality, clarity and texture at superior resolutions.
And for lower volume, lower unit cost, but equally stunning
image quality, Mitsubishi offers professional photographers
the CP-3020DAU that
is ideal for studio and shoot applications where fast, high-quality
8X10 or 8X12 prints are a requirement.
Designed and optimized for the professional event photographer,
Mitsubishi’s DPS Click 5000 Series Digital
Photo Finishing System accepts a wide array of
media types and can be situated at events for onsite editing,
scaling and printing. Featuring a robust 17” SVGA
touchscreen, intuitive navigation and the DPS Click 5000
Series Digital Photo System is ultra-reliable, easy to
use and enables smoother workflows, higher throughput — and
more efficient use of assistants!
Supporting Mitsubishi’s professional-inspired photo
finishing and printing solutions is the industry’s
most compelling product support programs. Mitsubishi’s Express
Replacement Assistance (ERA) is a next business
day replacement unit program designed to provide users
of Mitsubishi photo printers the peace of mind that comes
with the commitment to offering high quality printer products.
In the unlikely event that a unit should not operate properly,
Mitsubishi’s ERA program ensures professional photographers
suffer minimal interruption of service and a working replacement
unit will be shipped within 24 hours for the printer products.
“We understand that our customers make money and
build their businesses based on the performance of our
printers and photo finishing products,” explained
Darla Achey, marketing communications specialist, Mitsubishi
Digital Electronics, Photo Imaging Division. “This
is why we work so hard to make sure our products are up
and running when customers need them and that the print
quality is above and beyond the expectations of their clients.”
