New DX-TL4U provides security professionals
with the ultimate VCR-replacement DVR
2007 ISC West Expo — LAS
VEGAS, Nevada, March 30, 2007—
Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Imaging Products Division today
introduced the DX-TL4U, a four-input digital video recorder that couples DVR-level
versatility and performance with the ease-of-use and reliability commonly associated
with VCRs. Ideal for small retail environments, gas stations, convenience stores
and other small businesses, Mitsubishi’s new DX-TL4U is cost-effective,
ultra-intuitive and provides businesses with the ultimate product with which
to upgrade from analog to digital.
Easily controlled using a simple front button interface or a wireless remote
control , Mitsubishi’s DX-TL4U features one of the lowest learning curves
of its class and at less than two inches tall is one of the thinnest DVRs on
the market today. The DX-TL4U also features long-term recording with advanced
proprietary compression, which at one image per second in Standard mode, allows
for more than 50 days of continuous recording.
“The DX-TL4U was specifically designed with small
businesses in mind,” said Jeff Kiuchi, product
specialist, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America Security
Products. “Our VCR customers are now migrating
to digital and seeking a DVR solution that provides reliable
performance and easy operation. The new DX-TL4U addresses
this need at a price point that makes it practical for
a vast array of small businesses in retail, petroleum
and services.”
For businesses where remote system management is required,
the DX-TL4U is offered with software that allows owners/managers
to configure, monitor and control their DX-TL4U.
In addition to easily run diagnostics that allow end
users to quickly troubleshoot and resolve system performance
issues, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America also offers
the industry leading two-year limited warranty for digital
video recorders and two-year Express Replacement Assistance
(ERA) program that provides 24-hour replacement product
in the event of specific system failure.
