Mitsubishi central alarm monitoring solution lends
critical response capabilities to Mitsubishi DVR
units
2008 ISC West Expo — LAS
VEGAS, Nevada, April 2, 2008 — Mitsubishi
Digital Electronics America’s Imaging Products
Division today presented its integrated Central Station
Alarm Monitoring solution for the retail, financial,
higher learning and home monitoring industries. Central
Station Alarm Monitoring seamlessly integrates Mitsubishi
DVRs with existing alarm systems, creating a single
solution that facilitates rapid response to any critical
situation.
With Central Station Alarm Monitoring in place, security
personnel in the central monitoring station immediately
receive split-screen video feeds when an alarm sounds.
These images show live video paired with archived video
from the alarm location, allowing personnel to quickly
scan the current scene as well as review what happened
just prior to the alarm. They can then immediately assess
the situation and quickly decide the best course of action.
The system is vital for any market that uses central
stations, such as banks, large retailers, or home monitoring
centers.
Central Station Alarm Monitoring is just one of many
Mitsubishi security solution modules that may be mixed
and matched with other applications and hardware, and
can be customized to an organization’s specific
needs. By offering different options, Mitsubishi allows
customers to pick and choose the best security technology
and tailor it to their unique businesses.
Central Station Alarm Monitoring adds instant response
capabilities to the already feature-rich line of Mitsubishi
DVRs and offers a robust solution for times when swift
reaction is most critical,” said Jeff Kiuchi, product
specialist, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America Imaging
Products Division. “Mitsubishi is dedicated to providing
a wide range of digital security options, and Central Station
Alarm Monitoring integrates seamlessly with existing hardware
and applications for a full-scale security solution.”
