IRVINE, CALIFORNIA — June 01, 2009 — Bringing high-end performance and intuitive ease of use to the economy line market, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America today introduced its affordably priced 16-channel DX-TL16U and eight-channel DX-TL8U Digital Video Recorder with built-in multiplexer for simultaneous live and recorded viewing. The new series features a built-in DVD drive and total record speed of 120 images per second in MPEG4 compression format, and are ideally suited for 24/7 digital video surveillance applications that demand quality video performance.

Other features include three CIF resolution levels, four audio inputs, two-way audio, multiple search engines and a built-in hardware monitor. The DX-TL16U, DX-TL8U DVRs also boast user-friendly GUI menus for easy recording set-up and image management and global remote management software that works with all economy four-, eight- and 16-video input DVRs.
Mitsubishi’s DX-TL16U, DX-TL8U DVRs come with a three-year limited warranty and its industry-renowned Emergency Replacement Assistance that provides next business day replacement product in the event of specific system failure.
